Dannie James came down from the bay area yesterday to get this girl on her arm. She's a perfect client. She gave little input regarding the concept and sat like a champ for several hours. I'd love to do more like this. Thanks for looking!
(diamond tattoo not by me)
Here are a few recent pieces done at the shop and at Ink-N-Iron, on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA.
I had the pleasure of designing the poster for this years Yosemite Music Festival. It's always a fun challenge to try to capture the spirit of an event in an image. If you happen to be in that area this July, I'd recommend attending the festival. I know I am looking forward to it!
I just returned from another wonderful trip to Monument Tattoos in Tallahassee, FL and wanted to take a second to thank everyone at the shop for making me feel so welcome, as always. It has really become a home away from home for me and I look forward to the next visit.
Mostly, thanks to Craig Beasley, not only for the hospitality, but for giving me a chance back in 2007 and teaching me to tattoo. I'm grateful every day for the life-changing opportunity he gave me and I learn something new every time I see him.
His shop seems to get better and better over time. Thanks to Craig, Heidi, Matt Manning, Cody Klein, JAG, Dallas, and Chris. Also, thanks to everyone who collected a tattoo from me this last week; Amanda, Dani, Chanel, Matt, and Lilliam.
Now that I'm back and settled in on the Central Coast, I have some catching up to do and some really fun and exciting projects coming up soon, so check back for more posts.
After a few weeks of adjusting, I'm finally feeling settled in here at the San Luis Tattoo Company. Thank you to everyone who booked time with me. I'm overwhelmed (in a very good way) with the amount of inquiries for appointments I've gotten since returning to SLO. There are many exciting pieces in the works that I will be posting in the near future, so stay tuned.
