Here are a few tattoos done during October 2015. Thanks for checking them out!
Finally back from a long weekend in Nashville, TN for Ink N Iron. It was action packed. Thank you to everyone who got tattooed and hung out. Here are a few photos from the trip.
The above tattoo is a design from Todd Noble's new book "The Look of Love". I really enjoyed tattooing it and I took a few artistic liberties with the face. If you are interested in getting any of the 66 ladies from this book or any other flash I have here at the shop, please let me know.
It seems that there is a negative stigma around getting flash (a painted design intended to be tattooed) off of a tattoo shop wall, but the reality is you'll have a nicer, more original tattoo with flash than you would with any google search or pinterest image. Avoid the current trends and get classic, timeless designs whether they are custom or flash. You'll thank yourself in 10 years.
Last week, I had the pleasure of guesting at Monument Tattoos in Tallahassee, FL, owned by my good friend and mentor, Craig Beasley. I always have a great time there and consider it to be my home away from home. Thank you to everyone who got tattooed and to all of my friends, Heidi Beasley, Cody Klein, Matt Manning, Chris Villiers for all of your hospitality.
Here are a couple tattoos from the trip.
I'm now back in SLO, feeling inspired and excited start new projects.
As always, thanks for looking.
I'm happy to finally reveal this healed back-piece tattoo, which is on my friend and client, Chris Stanley. This tattoo took roughly 15 hours, total, to complete and was done in 5 sessions over a few months. It's always nice to have a client who commits to a project like this and sits as great as Chris did.
I'm now taking requests for large scale pieces like this. A few concepts are already drawn and ready to go. Please email me, if you are interested in collecting large project.
As always, thanks for looking!
