I'm excited to share with everyone the new SekretCity website! If you are not familiar, SekretCity is a company built by artist, Christopher Conn Askew, who happens to be one of my favorite artists and sources of inspiration. The site showcases everything he has to offer from limited edition prints to clothing. SekretCity now also includes a line of high quality jewelry, which is hand-crafted and stylistically reminiscent of his beautiful paintings and illustrations.
Please do yourself a favor and take a moment to check it out. www.sekretcity.com

Had a blast tattooing this on Natalie. I wish birds were a daily occurrence.
Thanks for looking!

I'm back at the studio after a couple week guest-spot at Monument Tattoos in Tallahassee, FL. Every time I travel to work there, I have an amazing time. I'd like to thank everyone who got tattooed and made me feel welcome. Monument is really a home away from home for me, especially since I apprenticed under Craig Beasley, the owner. Can't wait to head out there again!
Above is a tattoo I did on Mr. Matt Manning. This is the first tattoo I've done on Matt since he let me practice on him during my apprenticeship in 2008. It was a real pleasure to give him this tattoo.
Above is tattoo I did on my friend Cody Klein, who is currently apprenticing under Craig Beasley. Cody is also a professionally trained clown himself and makes some badass balloon animals! One of the few people who I think can really pull off wearing a clown tattoo. The balloon was used to cover-up a tattoo he had of a diamond. I'm really glad it all worked out. (Other hand by Mike Hall)

Below is one of my recent favorites, since returning to my studio. This is the first "Animal head on lady head" tattoo I've done and was thrilled that Chelsea asked me to do it. She has been getting quite a few tattoos from me lately and I greatly appreciate her openness to my creative input when it comes to the design of the tattoos.

July has been an action packed month! Lots of exciting updates coming soon!
Thanks for looking,

It's been a while since I've posted and update for you guys, so here it is! I've been mostly posting on Instagram, but I'll go ahead and throw some of those images on here for those of you who don't use it. I will be tattooing at Ink-N-Iron again this year! See details below.
This owlalope belongs to my new friend Amber's thigh. There's no story or anything behind it, she just wanted a nice tattoo of a wise, old owl with antlers. Maybe even a watch or something. haha. We completed it in two sessions. Fun as hell. Thanks Amber!
The coyote seen below is the second element on I've tattooed as a part of Amanda's 7/10 sleeve. I previously did a bird on the top of her shoulder, which was also a cover-up. Once the other foreground elements are finished, I'll tie it all together with a Japanese inspired background. The coyote will be standing on some rocks. Super stoked on this project.
Lastly, Hunter came in to finish his snarling fox last week. I outlined it a few months ago and was able to bring it to life this second session.

What is there to say. Another bird tattoo. Keep em coming.

In a laid-back neighborhood of Atlanta, nestled adjacent to a locomotive making it's way slowly across town, you'll find a beautiful, craftsman-style tattoo parlour known as Ink & Dagger. If you ever have the opportunity to visit this shop, you find yourself overwhelmed trying to take in all of the intricacies of the decor. Taxidermy wildlife and one-of-a-kind original paintings fill up the walls and shelves of the lobby, hallways, and tattoo rooms in a meticulous and well thought-out manner. You'll be greeted by a member of the crew which defines Southern hospitality and if everything works out, you'll leave with a top quality tattoo.
Renowned tattoo artist, Russ Abbott is the owner of Ink & Dagger who let me come out for a guest spot and tattoo there for the later part of February. I had appointments lined up for the trip before I arrived and a few of them ended up being among my all-time favorites.
Thanks to Russ and Beth for putting me up and giving me a place to stay while I was there. Everyone who got tattooed and accommodated me in one way or another, thank you too. Here are some photos from the trip. Thanks for looking.
